La Consulta, que fue la primera reuni\u00f3n de este grupo, se centr\u00f3 en la evaluaci\u00f3n de la evidencia cient\u00edfica disponible sobre las propiedades, funcionalidad, beneficios, seguridad, y las caracter\u00edsticas nutricionales de los alimentos probi\u00f3ticos.<br \/>\nUn total de 11 expertos de 10 pa\u00edses participaron en la consulta.<\/p>\n<p>La Consulta acord\u00f3 que el alcance de la reuni\u00f3n se incluyen los probi\u00f3ticos y prebi\u00f3ticos en los alimentos, y excluir la referencia a los agentes bioterap\u00e9uticos plazo y beneficiosa<br \/>\nmicroorganismos no se utiliza en los alimentos.
