Este supercurso abarca varias patolog\u00edas dentro de las que se trataron las relacionadas a enfermedades desmielinizantes y que fu\u00e9 impartido por el Profesor Walter R Timperley MA, DM, FRCPath., Consultante de Neuropatolog\u00eda en el Departamento de Neuropatolog\u00eda del Hospital Real de  Hallamshire en Inglaterra. Hay un grupo de enfermedades que impliquen da\u00f1os y la destrucci\u00f3n de las vainas de mielina que rodean las fibras nerviosas muchos. <\/span><span title=\"The axons of these fibres may be damaged as well.\">Los axones de estas fibras pueden da\u00f1arse tambi\u00e9n. <\/span><span title=\"The mechanism of myelin damage may be different in different diseases, but they have been grouped together under the general term of &quot;demyelinating diseases&quot;.\">El mecanismo de da\u00f1o de mielina puede ser diferente en diferentes enfermedades, pero han sido agrupados bajo el t\u00e9rmino general de &#8220;enfermedades desmielinizantes&#8221;.
